A results-driven, technical leader passionate about building performant, scalable, modern web applications
I specialize in building high performing teams that work cross functionally to deliver cohesive user experiences by building a centralized suite of foundational design tools.
I am currently a Technical Lead for the Material Web Components team at Google. Previously at Google I have been a Technical Lead Manager and Senior Software Engineer on Search.
Prior to joining Google, I was a Technical Lead and Senior Software Engineer at Two Sigma, where I worked on the Venn engineering team. Venn by Two Sigma is a platform investors use to consolidate investment data and perform out-of-the-box quantitative analyses.
Before my time at Two Sigma, I worked for DigitalOcean, where I was the Engineering Manager of the Client Engineering team. I was also responsible for delivering product implementations and planning across multiple verticals within the company, including coordination with the design and product teams. During my time at DigitalOcean, I was also a Senior Software Engineer and Technical Lead for the Accounts and Productivity Tools team. Before that, I led a team of Frontend Engineers during a re-architecture of the Control Panel client application from being server-rendered to client-rendered as an SPA.
Prior to DigitalOcean, I was a SWE at Mixmax where I architected, developed, and shipped “Snooze” to save emails for a later time, in addition to developing group calendar scheduling, shared team email templates, and email-based call-to-action buttons.
During my time as a SWE at Imgur, I was Technical Lead on the company’s mobile website application, and led a major rewrite of the mobile website.
I received my B.S. in Computer Science from the University of California at Davis (2009).
